Objective: All players will play a 9-hole golf course, simulating golf shots by rolling dice. Players will play each hole as one of several characters, each of whom has different dice sets. The player with the lowest score after 9 holes is the winner.
Preparation: Each player will select a game piece to represent their player. The game piece will be advanced through each hole according to the dice rolls.
Shuffle the deck of ‘Character Cards’ and deal out 9 cards
to each player. Each player’s hand will be the set of characters in which they can choose to play each hole as. Also, shuffle the Hacker Card Deck and set aside. Hacker Cards will be selected throughout the game.
Instructions:
- Before starting a hole, each player will select the character they want to play the hole as from their hand. The character card will indicate which dice to roll for each shot.
- Each player will take turns playing the entire hole by rolling the character’s specific dice for each shot and advancing their
game piece accordingly. After finishing the hole, they will tally their score for that hole and the next player will play. - After each hole, the character card used is discarded and not used again. Each player will use all 9 of their character
cards throughout the game. - After a hole is completed by all players, the player or players (in case of ties) with the worst (highest) score, can select a ‘Hacker Card’, which can be used at any point throughout the rest of the round to gain an advantage or give an opponent a disadvantage. Refer to the instructions on the ‘Hacker Card’ for how and when the card is to be played. Hacker Cards are discarded after use.
